This is another of our very long listings with an abundant text and 64 photographs, so please sit back and read the write-up through.

If you have come this far we feel you will find it was worth the wait!

It has now been nearly twenty-three years ago since we were called to do an estate that had been closed up for seventeen years!

The Voodoo Estate!

This type of call usually gets us excited as they are a treasure trove.  Located here in Florida, there was no electricity or running water so we rigged our own lighting and in we went.  If you have ever seen the Adams Family you will have some idea as to what we were greeted with!  Then the attorney handling the liquidation gave us some background.  The estate had belonged to an alleged powerful Voodoo Priestess/JooJoo Exorcist, grand daughter of a Marie Laveau, and favored daughter of a Marie Glapion.

These names meant nothing to us, but the late night talk of Voodoo and exorcism in the old mansion was enough for us to spend the night in a hotel and return in the morning to assess the estate.  The rest is history

Our research has shown that this woman was what she claimed and was indeed descended from a long line of well known Vodoun family originating in New Orleans in the early 1800's.

We were pretty unnerved by this until we discovered they were also devout Catholics!  Although I have to admit this was unlike any Catholic home we have ever been in and some of the items found inside were a little more than disturbing.

There was no feeling of dread or unwelcome in the mansion, however there was quite a bit of contraband and other items we can or will not sell here.

This is one of a few pieces from this estate we will be listing this week, so check our other listings!

We will, upon the new guardian's request, issue a named Letter of Authenticity with each piece from this estate, complying with the terms set forth to us by the estate's attorney.
 Some Back Story

Most of the items in this lot, the sword, box, skull, crystals and ring, are some of artifacts her journals attribute to, "Dihya of the Berber Magi's death camp" and are named as part of "the boon recovered as payment" for aiding a man she names as, "a Zoroastrian Mede Sorcerer Priest of disproportionate male endowment met in Egypt (1947)."

She goes on the tell us of the enhancement additions she and her associates added to the mix, the rainbow crystal gem eyes of the skull, the large gemstones, and phra yant prayer cloth, all of which were found together  in the main wardrobe of her Master Suite which her journals and inventory go on to describe with a story right out of a B movie!

It is admittedly a fascinating story in which she alleges to have been seduced by the, "Zoroastrian Mede Sorcerer Priest" graphically describing him as well endowed, but being "there to avenge the death of his daughter who had been kidnapped, held prisoner, ravaged, tortured, mutilated and murdered in 1941.  She was a birthing healer with ancient skills in keeping the mother and birthling alive during the first forty days of birthing."

She goes on to tell of his tracking a group of former slavers, mercenaries, thieves and general malcontents, to the outskirts of the Valley of the Kings which is where and when they met.  Her journals go into detail of summoning the 1888 LiDiex from her camp where the Mede Priest told his tale of the last six years of tracking this group, and together they sought revenge on behalf of this woman and her father.

1888 LiDiex

The research involved in this estate provides continuous fascination.  The one being primarily responsible for the above mentioned "revenge" is a man known only as "LiDiex", a 4th. generation descendant of the original Man Known Only As "LiDiex" who came to these shores as a survivor and saboteur of the slave Ship Henrietta Marie in 1701, and then found his way to New Orleans to meet with the parents of the then infant grandmother of our priestess, Marie Laveau.

It is said he facilitated this disaster using egg shells to cast a spell, and certain folklore concerning egg shells corroborate this.  He became a carpenter and furniture maker as did many of his descendants.  This is another case of the multi-generational relationships we have encountered with this family as the LiDiex all had a strong association with these women.

He is the least mentioned of the LiDiex in her journals, yet he kept a suite of rooms with her from the time of his sixteenth birthday.  Apparently he would leave for periods of up to a decade before returning, shutting himself in her estate for lengthy periods before leaving again.

He is attributed with the design and consecration of the "Resurrection Skull Altar" and most of the ceremonial spells associated with it.  Her journals and those of a number of her live in practitioner followers, most notably those of the LiDiex, tell of this altar being used in ritual resurrection ceremonies.  There are some pretty fantastic tales of animating inanimate objects, such as a number of articulated skulls using specific minerals, potions, elixirs and reptiles.

Described as being "in excess of six feet of sinewy muscle, deceptively strong, easily matching two of his size in their grappling" and "extensively, shaved, tattooed and pierced" in addition to "shown to be capable of high magic without devices."

Both their journals claim his ability to heal wounds, shape shift, travel through time and space, telepath and create life with the power of his thought.

It is this LiDiex who is attributed with making her introduction to Alexandra David Neel and his journals tell of numerous meetings and short adventures with her.  Claiming at the age of twenty four to have met Neel for the second time in the company of Prince Sidkeong of Sikkim and of being her teacher of the Tibetan language having already spent six years with the Great Hermit as apprentice.

Much is already written on these subjects, so there is no need to elaborate here in this already overly long listing, but we wholeheartedly recommend a cursory search for some very interesting reading.

Revenge in the Valley of the Kings

Their journals speak to us with an entry that reads, "Herein lies a tale of high magic, the tell being of the LiDiex taking his murmur bag into the desert night and returning with the head of an enemy leader before dawn."

Heck of a journal entry, at least we think so. This story goes on to detail this, "murmur bag" enough for us to identify it as one of the large yak fur bags bearing a 3.5" heavy silver cross that was filled with what can only be described as doll parts from a horror movie.  These parts were filled with the same green calcite and "funery (human) ash" used in many of the resurrection and animation ceremonies attributed to this LiDiex.

The lining of this bag was fully covered in, "Murmur Curse," a described "invocation" that is essentially given in account as automatic writing.

The Murmur Curse

Only a few pieces were found in this estate displaying this named, "Murmur Curse."  The description of its application is akin to speaking and writing in tongues.  No decipher is given in her journals and we have not yet been successful in translating all of them, but what we have been able to decipher of the ones contained in this mentioned bag are "breath, walk, run, obey, fight, death, kill, murder, slash, stab, burn, invisibility, strength, speed, skill, madness, jealousy, envy, suicide and phantom (described as a mist)."

This "curse" is originally attributed to the 1888 LiDiex and is later mentioned as being used by his associates, with what their journals note of, "carved stones, spelled to aid in this curse" being used.  This, "Murmur Curse" they claim, was used to animate inanimate objects, as mentioned earlier of the skulls found on their "Resurrection Skull Altar" and the poppet dolls in the Murmur Curse Bags.

The curse would be murmured, while, with what can only be described as automatic writing, the murmur would be written on the object or objects to be animated or on accouterments, such as weapons or bags to carry them in.  A number of these, "medicine bags" were found in this suite containing what looked like bizarre puppet or doll parts filled with the green calcite favored in these ceremonies.  These "murmurings" were written on these parts, it's weapons and the inside of the bags.

She describes this murmur curse being used to animate these poppets to, "commit revenge murder" usually against ill wishers, claiming, "once animated they project into their unconscious thought causing the most destructive of dreams culminating in organ failure murder and suicide."

We uploaded the original 37 photographs of one of these bags to our photo hosting website for you to view.  For those of you that do not know of it you can email us for additional picture links for a glimpse of one of these bags and its contents.

They are no longer in our possession so it is just for a glimpse at and into the bags;

~!~

These "doll parts" are said to have become "animated and cursed, using the desert sand and bits of cloth to make up the two bodies needed by these creatures".

Their journals alleging this LiDiex to have sent these, "thought created and animated creatures into the brigand camp, murdering and causing the marks to murder themselves to the last man and woman by dawn.  The attack taking place at 3:00 am is relevant."

Once the task was completed she went with this LiDiex into the brigand camp to retrieve the Captain's head and those of their magician and his concubine, named as Dihya, along with whatever else they found of value including the poppet parts along with their weapons.  "The task be done then back whence from," claiming the task done, their bodies returned to their original form, leaving the parts and weapons for this LiDiex to retrieve.

Here she writes of coming upon the mutilated headless bodies of the Magi and his mistress in the brigand camp and stripping them of anything she found of value. This sword, the dowry box containing the skull, the crystals and ring being among them.  "They were found close at hand with the box open and the hands of their dismembereds corpses seemed to be reaching for it.  There was much blood."  She goes on to tell of taking the dismembered hands which she took possession of and later turned into candles to be used in exorcisms!

She also rifled through their tents taking maps and journals which named the owners and gave her some history of the things they took possession of post massacre.

The tale continues with the Father, the above mentioned Zoroastrian Mede Sorcerer Priest, being given the head of the brigand leader and a tour of the defeated brigand camp, claiming one hundred and thirty four victims.

Judging from the, "poppet parts" found in these bags, these created beings could not have been more than two feet tall!

Real or imagined, we do understand why she and the company she kept were as feared and respected as they were.

~!~

the back story continued...

The Father's tale, as far as we can decipher, is the daughter was kidnapped and held for ransom.  On her left hand she wore a silver and carnelian bracelet that was attached with silver chain to matching rings which was severed by the kidnapper's along with the hand that was wearing it.  The severed hand, wearing the damaged bracelet was sent to the father with her ransom note contained in a doga.  His daughter's fate, doomed from the onset, set this man, described as, "a Zoroastrian Mede Sorcerer Priest to be respected" to seek vengeance upon this group dedicating his life to that point in time where the players in this drama converged.

She and the LiDiex wanted the partial hand of this healer, but the father would not have it.  Agreeing instead to pay with coin of the land, her jewelry and other talisman and things of value of his own in addition to their taking a large share of the brigand booty, this sword, box, skull spell kit among them.  From what we gathered, their combined parties numbered no more than sixty.  Less than half of that of the brigands.  We found no indication of anything other than their being sure of a favorable outcome.

The Kit, it's Components and Commentary

Her journal entries tell us; "This being one part of the booty taken from the field.  I am assured by her (Kahina's) journal and letters the Magi's concubine (Kahina) was a Jewess witch of the ancient line of Dihya.  I know of her kin and am saddened to see her come to this end.  Alas, one is judged by the company they keep."

Another of her entries tell us; "In recreating the scene, it appears the Magi, driven mad by our poppets, severed the hands of his own assistant preventing her laying them upon the skull to assist him in their defence.  Lucky for us?  Or skill at arms and magic remains to be seen.  We now have these tools in our possession and all are anxious to experiment with them."

And experiment they did.  Her notes speak highly of these artifacts they recovered from this venture with entries such as, "These are mystical talisman that betrayed their owners, their energy drawing the murmur poppets to them.”

"The dowry box bears an older spell that is a ward against the evil eye and magic curse, yet it is this energy that betrayed them, their being evil men."

“Their vibrations are that with the 1st Chakra and govern the instinct for survival, yet this did not stand them well in the face of this last dangerous situation of their Magi  and Kahina owners.  The murder and mayhem they caused during their tenor with these Berber bandits caused the spirits occupying these vessels to betray them.  Had they abandoned their ways, at any point up until the time of the murmur being cast upon this camp, they would have survived and been long lived.  So say the spirits of the sword, box and skull who have been welcomed into our home and practices.”

Dihya

As stated earlier, her journals tell us she had intimate knowledge of a group of desert dwelling women who were actual descendants of Dihya, the Warrior Witch Queen, and of a ring belonging to her which she had taken from her severed hand.   Despite this, she gives little reference to the ancient lineage.  Our own research revealed;

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, for the most part...

Dihya or Kahina was a Berber warrior queen.  A religious and military leader who led indigenous resistance to the Muslim conquest of the Maghreb, the region then known as Numidia.  She was born in the early 7th century and died around the end of the 7th century in modern-day Algeria.

Her personal name is one of these variations: Daya, Dehiya, Dihya, Dahya or Damya (with Arabic spelling it is difficult to distinguish between these variants).  Her title was cited by Arabic-language sources as al-Kahina (the priestess soothsayer).  This was the nickname given to by her Muslim opponents because of her reputed ability to foresee the future.

She was born into the Jrawa Zenata tribe in the early 7th century.  Arab historians wrote that she was a Jewish "sorceress" and because of this belief she was able to defeat the Arab Islamic invaders, who retreated to eastern Tripolitania.  For five years she ruled a free Berber state from the Aurès Mountains to the oasis of Gadames (695-700 AD).  But the Arabs, commanded by Musa bin Nusayr, returned with a strong army and defeated her.  She fought at the El Djem Roman amphitheater but finally was killed in a combat near a well that still bears her name, Bir al Kahina in Aures, and her head was sent to the caliph as a trophy.

Accounts from the 19th century on claim she was of Jewish religion or that her tribe were Judaized Berbers.  According to al-Maliki, she was accompanied in her travels by an "idol" possibly an icon of the Virgin Mary or one of the Christian saints, but certainly not something associated with Jewish religious customs.

The idea that the Jrawa were Judaized comes from the medieval historian Ibn Khaldun, who named them among a number of such tribes.  Hirschberg and Talbi note that Ibn Khaldun seems to have been referring to a time before the advent of the late Roman and Byzantine empires, and a little later in the same paragraph seems to say that by Roman times "the tribes" had become Christianized.  In the words of H. Z. Hirschberg, "of all the known movements of conversion to Judaism and incidents of Judaizing, those connected with the Berbers and Sudanese in Africa are the least authenticated.  Whatever has been written on them is extremely questionable."  Hirschberg further points out that in the oral legends of Algerian Jews, "Kahya" was depicted as an ogre and persecutor of Jews.

Over four centuries after her death, Tunisian hagiographer al-Maliki seems to have been among the first to state she resided in the Aurès Mountains.  Just seven centuries after her death, the pilgrim at-Tijani was told she belonged to the Luwata tribe.  When the later historian Ibn Khaldun came to write his account, he placed her with the Jrawa tribe.

According to various Muslim sources, al-Kahinat was the daughter of Tabat, or some say Matiya.  These sources depend on tribal genealogies, which were generally concocted for political reasons during the 9th century.

Ibn Khaldun records many legends about Dihya.  A number of them refer to her long hair or great size, both legendary characteristics of sorcerers.  She is also supposed to have had the gift of prophecy and she had three sons, which is characteristic of witches in legends.  Even the fact that two were her own and one was adopted (an Arab officer she had captured) was an alleged trait of sorcerers in tales.  Another legend claims that in her youth, she had supposedly freed her people from a tyrant by agreeing to marry him and then murdering him on their wedding night.  Virtually nothing else of her personal life is known.

Dihya succeeded Caecilius as the war leader of the Berber tribes in the 680s and opposed the encroaching Arab Islamic armies of the Umayyad Dynasty.  Hasan ibn al-Nu'man marched from Egypt and captured the major Byzantine city of Carthage and other cities (see Muslim conquest of North Africa).  Searching for another enemy to defeat, he was told that the most powerful monarch in North Africa was "the Queen of the Berbers" (Arabic: malikat al-barbar) Dihya, and accordingly marched into Numidia.  The armies met near Meskiana in the present-day province of Oum el-Bouaghi, Algeria.  She defeated Hasan so soundly that he fled Ifriqiya and holed up in Cyrenaica (Libya) for four or five years.  Realizing that the enemy was too powerful and bound to return, she was said to have embarked on a scorched earth campaign, which had little impact on the mountain and desert tribes, but lost her the crucial support of the sedentary oasis-dwellers.  Instead of discouraging the Arab armies, her desperate decision hastened defeat.

The story of the Kahina is told by a variety of cultures, and each story often offers a different, or even contradictory, perspective.  For example, the story is used to promote feminism beliefs.  Additionally, it is even told by Arabs to promote their own nationalism.  For the Arabs, they told the story in a perspective that made the Kahina seem like a sorcerer, all in an attempt to discredit her.  Some Arab historians took it even farther by saying that the Kahina eventually tried to have her sons adopt Islam as their religion.  Another group that told the story of the Kahina was the French.  The story of the Kahina was told to paint colonialism in a positive light.  The story was told with a message saying that it represented the freeing of Berbers from the Arabs.

Another, lesser known account of Dihya claimed that she had an interest in early studies of desert birds.  While this view may or may not be plausible, some evidence has been recovered at the site of her death place, modern-day Algeria. Several fragments of early parchment with a painting of a bird on them were found, although there's no way to conclude the fragments were hers.  However, it is possible that she began her interest while in Libya, as the painting was of a Libyan bird species.

Hasan eventually returned and, aided by communications with the captured officer "Khalid bin Yazid al-Qaysi" adopted by Dihya, defeated her at a locality (presumably in present-day Algeria) about which there is some uncertainty.  According to some accounts, Dihya died fighting the invaders, sword in hand, a warrior's death.  Other accounts say she committed suicide by swallowing poison rather than be taken by the enemy.  This final act occurred in the 690s or 700s, with 703 AD given as the most likely year.  In that year, she was, according to Ibn Khaldun, 127 years old.  This is evidently yet another of the many myths which surround her.

According to Muslim historians, her sons Bagay and Khanchla converted, and led the Berber army to Iberia.  However, the historian Ibn al-Athir says they died with their mother.  In later centuries, Dihya's legend was used to bolster the claims of Berbers in al-Andalus against Arab claims of ethnic supremacy in the early modern age, she was used by French colonials, Berber nationalists, Arab Nationalists, North African Jews, North African feminists, and Maghrebi nationalists alike for their own didactic purposes.

In the present day, the image of the Kahina is constantly used by Berber activists to showcase how they, as a people, are strong and will not be conquered or diminished by other communities.  Her face is often seen in graffiti and sculptures around Algeria to showcase their support for the progressive ideals she represents.  While her true appearance is still unknown, artists have depicted her with certain aspects that reinforce the progressive movement she is known to represent.  However, not all governments accept the ideals behind the Kahina.  One statue of the Kahina in Baghaï was condemned by the government due to blasphemy.  The president said that the Kahina represented the resistance of Islam, and thus, should be condemned.

Tuareg Berber Magi'

Little, if anything else, other than what is printed here is known of this man.  Her journals tell us "he dressed in black and rode a fiery black stallion" and the victim's father believed he had once had access to a djinn that had granted him the ability to assert his dominance over others.  "She was beautiful while he had the face of a horse" is an entry that we assume is explained by that.

Swastika Blood Magic Murder Sword

Their journals and a host of artifacts tell us the use of forged high carbon steel, blood and crystal are useful tools in projecting mass amounts of accurately focused energy over distances, that although could be and were used in healings, were primarily weapons that could and did injure and kill their targets.  They were no stranger to these things many years before acquiring this lot, immediately recognizing them for what they were.

Examination of the sword reveals it is assuredly a hand forged Berber blade that is essentially a Takuba with a modified blade. The right hand swastika crossguard is an immediate clue that this sword was not meant for traditional combat,Yet the sheath ends in a Turk's Head knot making the sheath an effective striking weapon in itself.

A small part of the hilt is not covered in leather, and they tell us this is intentional, as it is meant to cut the heel of the wielding palm just enough to draw blood and send it's energy up into the blade (shown below).  "It is the iron in our blood that conducts this magic energy," according to one of her entries.

Sheathed, the sword measures approximately 32" in overall length with the right hand swastika crossguard measuring approximately 7 3/8" wide and weighing 2 lbs., 14 oz..  The sheath contains a matching 8.5" dagger with a 4 3/4" x 13/16" blade.  The falchion styled sword blade measures approximately 22 1/2" in length x 1 3/4" wide

She does make note of this sword being "forged in magic" and indicating it is a"live blade" which does not refer to its sharpness, it is not, but it does contain a spirit similar to the Keris.

Some of our own research revealed;

Takoba
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, for the most part..

Takoba (also takuba or takouba) is the sword that is used across the western Sahel and among ethnic groups such as the Tuareg, the Hausa, and the Fulani.  It usually measures about one meter in length.  Takoba blades are straight and double edged with a pronounced tapering from the guard towards the tip; they can exhibit several notable features, including three or more hand-ground fuller grooves and a rounded point.

Since the Tuareg have an aversion to touching iron, the takoba's hilt, like many iron implements, is fully covered.  Typically the simple but deep crossguard is of iron sheet, or iron-framed wood, covered in tooled leather, and occasionally sheathed in brass or silver; the grip is also often leather-covered but the pommel is always of metal, often brass or copper, sometimes iron or silver.  Alternatively the whole hilt can be covered in brass or silver sheathing.  The scabbard is made of elaborately tooled leather.  Geographical variations in the form of the hilt have been noted, but no rigorous typology has been established.  Variations in the quality of blade and fittings on takobas probably mostly reflect the wealth of their owners.

There is much debate about whether the takoba was used only by the warrior class or whether it could be borne by vassals.

As with most crafted items used by the Tuareg, takoba are crafted by the ìnhæd caste, who are of a different ethnicity and speak Ténet, a secret language.  They believe that they have magical powers, which some theorize to be associated with their traditional roles as metalworkers and to the aversion to both metalworking and touching iron.

Swastika

According to her journal entries the swastika depicted as the crossguard of this sword is an ancient symbol that is found worldwide, but is especially common in Hindu and Buddhist culture.  Its name comes from the Sanskrit word svasti (sv = well; asti = is), meaning good fortune, luck and well-being.  It is used as a charm of good fortune, but has a variety of religious meanings.

When facing right, it represents strength and intelligence, and is called the ura (rear) manji.  It is also seen as pointing in all four directions, (north, east, south and west) and thus signifies stability and groundedness.  Its use as a sun symbol can first be seen in its representation of the god Surya.

The swastika is considered extremely holy and auspicious by the Hindu and Buddhist, and is regularly used to decorate items related to their cultures.  Used in yantras and religious designs, it can be seen on the sides of temples, religious scriptures, gift items, and letterheads.  The Hindu God Ganesh is often shown sitting on a lotus flower on a bed of swastikas.  The symbol, as it is used in Buddhist art and scripture, is known in Japan as a manji, and represents Dharma, universal harmony, and the balance of opposites.  When facing left, it is the omote (front) manji, representing love and mercy.

Balanced manji are often found at the beginning and end of Buddhist scriptures.  The swastika is one of the 108 symbols of the god Vishnu as well as a symbol of the sun and of the sun god Surya.  The rotation of its arms imitates the course taken daily by the sun, which appears in the Northern Hemisphere to pass from east, then south, to west.  It is also a symbol of the sun among Native Americans.

Oddly enough, the only incidence we have found referencing the swastika in the Berber culture is on a primitive drawing depicting a wild boar hunt with dogs where it seemed to be driving the dogs forward..

The Dowry Box

The antique, cathedral lidded, wood and brass dowry box contained the quartz crystal skull, a silver ring, the small assortment of  polished stones and two ounces of oudh incense when taken from the scene of the massacre.

Once back at the estate, she used all of the incense over time and added the five large gems and prayer cloth which are described in detail below.  She indicates the box contained the Djinn which, although loyal to the Kahina, ultimately betrayed her due to some unknown power the Magi was able to assert over the Djinn, placing it in a near death state.  They claim to have reversed and revived the occupying spirit where it is said to reside to this day.

The box is in overall excellent condition with signs of use, but no sign of damage or repair.  There is no key.

It measures approximately 12 1/2" x 9 3/4" x 8 5/8" with the handle raised.  It weighs 6 lbs., 7 oz.

There is a single lidded interior compartment along the left side and this is where the polished quarts stones and silver snake ring were found.

The box was assuredly made in India, the remnants of the paper tag  affixed to the bottom was a dead giveaway there, but it has further deteriorated while in our custody and is barely discernible. Most likely circa 1900-1920.

There is no indication how the box and its contents came to be in the possession of the Kahina.

The Crystal Skull

A collection of crystal was recovered from the suite of the 1888 LiDiex.  An assortment of thirty-seven natural and carved pieces of these rock quartz crystal pieces are attributed as being used by this LiDiex for "Meditative Blade Charging" and "for imparting spells to the blade" according to their journal entries.

This collection and the practices associated with it, were developed and practiced long before the massacre, so it comes as no surprise that they immediately recognized this spell kit for what it was and laid claim to it and once again we find magical practices that seem to have crossed cultural and geographical borders.

These blade ceremonies, "where one's consciousness and that of the spelled blade become one" is noted in a number of their entries as described below in the commentary.

This author and editor has spent nearly two decades in the research of this estate and the parties associated with it, and it is my commentary that follows;

"The LiDiex, the crystals and the spells associated with them hold particular fascination for me.  These "blade charging spells and rituals" which essentially consist of meditating oneself into a dream-like state while unconsciously bathing the blade in the charged aura of the crystal, which allegedly enabled them to move in the dream realm and this world simultaneously while wielding that blade.

The distinction being his efforts in the dream world were minimal and their reaction in the physical world being disproportionly fierce and effective.  In addition, while in this state one would see the events the blade would participate in well in advance of the event taking place, allowing one to alter the outcome."

We interrupt this write up to bring you a personal message from its editor.  "Never underestimate the power of prayer.  Our family martial art, for those of you that do not know is 'Muso Shinden Ryu Batto Jutsu' which translates as 'The Art of Drawing and Cutting from Divine Transmission through a Dream' so you can see our attraction to a lot such as this and the reason I took possession of it for my personal collection where it has remained until now.

Her journals, and those of two live in associates of this estate discuss the bathing of forged, high carbon steel blades in the energy field of a matched crystal, as in this case and others from this estate along with some of our own renditions.  One of which is currently listed in our selling venues.

I have put these things to use and have successfully taught two others in their use with three times as many failures.  They do work, but nothing is for nothing, especially in blood magic.

Some key notes from their journals state; "salt and colored light when charging" we used Himalayan salt lamps for this.  Four from the LiDiex Suite and three of our own collection and from memory of the suite layout tried to recreate the lighting they describe for this."

Duplicating their "techniques" on some of our own blades has had some interesting results, especially as we developed and shared the teachings we learned with the combined knowledge of our own little group who practice blade cultures.  This 'blade charging' must be done in an unconscious manner while avoiding cutting yourself, but if bled, the blood must stay on the crystal and never touch the blade or its fittings.  We want the blade to hunger for blood.

The initial blades we did this with were a Cold Steel Warrior Katana and a Paul Chen Golden Oriole Katana, both I had previously used to draw and cut with, but noted that neither were perfect swords.  Perhaps it was the power of suggestion, but it did seem to enhance the attributes (cutting and handling) of both blades by putting them through these rituals.

The third blade this was done with is a signed, tested and dated 18th. century blade that is phenomenal to handle, but I never cut with it as it was made to cut flesh and bone, not tatami mats, water bottles, etc. and for fear of damage as it is 300 years old.

Although the blade seemed to liven up quite a bit in forms, we do not recommend doing this to these old Japanese blades as we feel these older blade spirits do not like it.  I base this on the events of the night this ceremony was performed on that antique blade.  That night I had a vivid lucid dream of two very unhappy seven-plus foot tall Daimyo armored figures paying me a visit through a mirror followed by a woman who somehow identified herself to me as Fox Spirit Woman.

Upon waking with total recall that name struck me as something Native American, but I am assured it was a Japanese spirit woman attached to the sword during its forging.  So lo and behold this 18th. century woodblock print we turned up in our research with the named and described, both in my dream and on the print, "Fox Spirit Woman."

We had also performed these rituals with a number of new knives, including two pair of Cold Steel Moro Barong's and a pair of Karambits which in our opinion enhanced the ability of these tools as fighting tools quite a bit.  We gave one of the karambits away to a good client with metaphysical and martial background and training, but to this day she has refrained from using it.  She has however become a recluse and gone mad, but this we do not feel had anything to do with the blade.

It was also done with a pair of Cheness SGC Series - "Tsukikage" (Moon Shadow) Katana.  Not to burden an already overlong listing with a review, these blades are wider and thinner than traditional blades, excellent cutters and well worth the money.  A fresh hog from the butcher was chosen as test medium for each these 'charged' blades.  Although each session was an impressive demonstration, we did not do any cutting beforehand for comparison, so it is not fair to try and make a comparison.

The barong's on the other hand were thought to vibrate and rattle in their sheaths on a number of occasion noted by all present.  We really wanted some more experience in doing this before trying it on the blades their notes tells us they are best used on, the Keris or Kris.  Pulling four blades from our own collection, a 12th. century Dapur Brojol, a 13th. century Kulit Semangka and a matched, presentation grade pair of 19th. century Wengkon.

These were inherited from my grandfather's personal collection and are heaped with folklore.  They are very old swords with numerous ancient mystical and historical references.  The keris was also a favored blade of her Zuvembie with her noting of them, "it is time that determines when the most powerful blades were made.  This energy and magic increases through use being the continuous feeding needed by the keris and its jinn."

These are blades created by 'empus' with ancient technique and ritual that is still closely guarded as our own forays into Indonesia had later shown.

If you decide to use these kit for its intended purpose, please research what is shown here and proceed with caution.  There seems to be a wide range of magic applied to spelled blades such as the keris and the Japanese blades, many of them dating back hundreds of years, having passed through the hands of warrior magicians and ritually used.  Some of these are meant to protect one from harm, others to promote wealth, but many of these swords are ancestral belongings, passed down through generations of practitioners.  They are said to embody attributes of strength and heroism of all its previous owners, so in this regard they are considered powerful magical charms.

Some of the legends concerning these blades are the ability to slay an enemy by simply pointing the weapon at that person or into their footprints, transferring a fire from one location to another by pointing the tip of the blade in another direction, the blade flying out of the sheath to attack an enemy on its own. rattling in its sheath to warn the owner of approaching danger, allowing one to see into the future via peering into small holes in the weapon or viewing its reflective surface, sighting along the blade spine and focusing the energy along the blade and out of the tip, healing battle wounds of its owner, and give complete invulnerability to its wearer.

These blades, if properly made are said to contain a life force or spirit which is known in Indonesian as “Khodam” or Servitor.   Khodam is a spiritual force or intelligence which lives in the blade providing guidance and protection to its owner.  Not all of these blades have a positive nature.

The name Keris comes from the Malaise language which means to stab or to pierce, but even though this indicates its use as a weapon they are actually made as spiritual objects to protect their owners, warn them of danger and allow them to glimpse into the future.

But, this listing is not about the keris and we have already burdened another overly long text with this but feel one should have some additional background and access to our own research to guide them with these things and strongly suggest further research in this area before conducting magic or wielding one of these blades.

But Back to the Skull

Unfortunately, there is no history of this skull prior to their acquisition.  Their journals tell us it was a welcomed addition to the estate by a group known to be well versed in blade culture magic.

They have called upon these tools and their knowledge which note of their performing these 'Blood Blade Crystal Meditations' which called for "blooding the skull during the spell."

We should also note that there a number of entries where the skulls are alleged to then being able to perform this spell on their own.

~!~

Examination reveals a solid, one piece rock crystal skull carving of unknown origin with excellent clarity through approximately 20% of the skull.   It displays numerous interior veils, areas of self healing and heat sensitive aurora borealis, or rainbow inclusions.

The skull is of fine cut and polish, measuring approximately 5 1/2" x 3 1/8" x 3 1/8" and weighing 3 lbs., 12 oz.

According to their journals, the skull was "given sight" during a ceremony celebrating the first successful use of the kit while making contact with the three spirits that occupy the sword, box and skull and welcoming them to the estate.  It was at this time that the other gems and prayer cloth were enhancements they added, but more of that later (down below).

The Ring

We would have thought this to be a stylized letter S initial ring had it not been for their journals which describe it as a skinned cobra, readied for sacrifice!  Apparently any snake will be an adequate offering, but it must be butchered and made into a food offering within twelve hours of attempting to use this kit.  We believe she and the Magi were both snake eaters, on a regular basis.

It is unclear whether the ring was recovered from the box or from the Kahina's severed hand due to ledger damage.  It makes sense to us that the ring would be stored in the inner compartment of the box, but that the Kahina had retrieved it from the box and may have put it on prior to the Magi being driven mad and severing her hands.

This is one of three hundred and two pieces of jewelry from this estate that are attributed as being, "death worn" from a colorful variety of sources, and she tells us numerous times in her journals that, "death worn, always reeks of the living imprint."

She claims "the ring bears numerous sorceress spells of power and healing that were placed upon it long before our acquisition."

It is a substantial ring, most likely an antique (over 100 years old) that is certainly sturdy enough for ritual use or daily wear.  The ring is unmarked with no maker's or assay marks and tests as .900 Silver Standard.

It is a ring size 8, and the ring face measures approximately 13/16" x 5/8" x 1/8" and weighs 10 grams.

The Fifteen White Saudi Seer Divination Quartz Stones

Here again, there is no history of the fifteen polished white quartz stones (shown above) prior to their coming to this estate.  Our resident and associated experts seem to agree that they originated in Saudi Arabia.  Once acclimated to their new home they were spoken of as "White Saudi Seer Divination Quartz Stones" which they felt were best used on the Ma Saep Nang Phra Sant Yant Sex Dream Ritual Cloths found throughout this estate, one of which she placed in the box for their use and like their other contributions will soon be described in detail below.

The fifteen stones have a combined weight of 4.25 oz. (118.9 grams)

The Five Gems

Her journals and inventory tell us she and the LiDiex were responsible for choosing the five large gemstone they used to enhance this kit during a 1964 ritual ceremony.  All were taken from their own collections.

The Rainbow Quartz Gems/Ma-Na-Ta-Ka Vapor Valley Crystal

They had a sizable collection of cabochons and faceted gems from this source in their collections.  She notes of using them as "sacred center stones" indicating their "placement upon the chakra to induce a specific response or action."  Many of the smaller ones were actually ingested, but these were not chosen as "Right of Passage" stones, but rather as eyes for this skull in order to give it vision.  It is a striking effect, if nothing else.

~!~

Her journals and inventory also tell us these 17.4625 x 14.2875 mm x 9.375 mm, 12.33 ct., faceted oval cut Rainbow Quartz Crystal gems used to give this skull vision were cut from crystal she names as, "a Ma-Na-Ta-Ka Vapor Valley Crystal” that she originally inventoried in July, of 1908.  There are a number of entries that attribute this crystal to finds and trade goods from what they called, "Vapor Valley Conference."  She makes eleven lengthy and detailed journal entries that span a two decade period where she describes herself, and a number of her associates being presented as guest speakers bearing gifts at a tribal conference of Native American Holy Men to discuss the members of, "the Secret Rosicross who hold power" and their ongoing quest to shut down or rather obliterate Native Holy Sites worldwide.

Our own research has turned up some pretty fascinating information corroborating Golden Dawn, Eastern Star, and Rosicrucian ritual molestation and murder, ie; sacrificial ceremony, usually of young, "bred" family members.  These ceremonies taking place at spas or springs which were once Native American Holy Ritual Sites that have now been covered up or obliterated from the face of the earth.  This, they claim, is responsible for the disproportionate number of children's deaths attributed as farm accidents in their rural regions of operation.

There really is an abundance of information along these lines of research, far too much to place in this already lengthy text, but we wholeheartedly encourage you to research this further on your own.

~!~

Their journals indicate they used this source of crystal in past life dream recall and spell invocation.  Some of her journal entries read; "held aloft in both hands before being drawn into the chakra in descending order as a prelude to entering the meditative state."

These entries describe a lengthy, silent use of intense physical and mental concentration as this would take upwards of three hours to perform.”  She also notes, "these stones have side affects, usually on those not indoctrinated to our ways," as she puts it in one entry.  These side affects include disorientation, nervousness, excessive sweating and nausea.

Another entry reads, "If these discomforts arise, discontinue your use, bathe and cleanse yourself with sage.  After a brief rest you may continue, noticing longer periods of use without discomfort with each successive session."

Other entries read, "One's chakra must be cleansed once the stone has let blood (anointed with blood).  Once considered, it is a stone of clear communication, allowing access to information along the timeline of our adult and childhood spirit memories often invoking laughter.  This is a beneficial, healing crystal we have utilized in stimulating intuit ability blocked with childhood memories.  They are advanced practitioner stones that communicate this knowledge to those that walk our paths.  This is not a lone use stone, as it feeds on, and generates energy among groups fostering the group energy into a single, focused force that can be stored in the crystal, and controlled, as it is quite cooperative."

"It is an excellent choice in the stimulation of a group cohesiveness.  Its energies are that of compassion, and understanding, as they heal the hearts from pain."

"A meditation crystal to provide insight into family or other social problems.  Here is a pleasant and confidence assuring stone, whose internal rainbow visions produce an energy suited to the viewer's vibrations that bring these rainbows to this life's plane of existence."

The gems are part of a group she had commissioned to be cut in 1963 by a New York, practitioner, follower, gem cutter she names as, "Jew George" who had been used extensively by her long time friend Maya Deren, who had introduced them.  Many of the loose gemstones and those set in jewelry we recovered from this estate were attributed to his gem cutting skills.

The gems are of fine brilliant cut and display a dramatic rainbow color.

The Citrine and Prasiolite Gems

 Cherokee Shaman's Dream Intrusion Citrine

Pictured on the lower left, the lighter yellow stone is one of seven gems gifted to her by a "James Mooney of Washington D.C. in the year of his death," according to her inventory.

The timeline and journal entries indicate this is the anthropologist and author of some note.  Much is already written of this historical figure and a cursory search will provide some very interesting reading in which she, of course, claims to have had a hand.  She also claimed to have "intimate knowledge of him in order to pry from his mind the secrets he did not know he had," but she does not elaborate further.

She does make note of "the tell that went with the gift" and makes a rather lengthy entry concerning his coming to have these stones in the first place.  Essentially, they were cut from a stone given to him by what she terms a "*indädû anida'ehïwas" which loosely translates as supernatural snake and he was told to "prepare this as gifts to her in the year of your (his) death."

She goes on, "his recollection was 'in the early 1890's, '91 or '92 when the new half breed Shaman approached me with this raw yellow stone and of not understanding what he meant, calling out to him and being ignored as he walked away, never to be seen by me again.  On meeting you I immediately knew you were the one to have them."

Given to her in it's present form, allegedly Money had the stone cut into the seven gems in Washington D.C. in 1919.  She writes of these stones; "ancient energies of defeat and trouble have been stored in this stone that respond to the formulas.  These are easily discharged over distanced direction and recharge without cleansing.  It's energies are very dark unlike other citrine.  It likes to be touched."

She claims that when pressed or rubbed "it makes the connection" as she worded it.  She also alleges that pressing the face of the stone against any facial skin of anyone allows entry into their dreams at any time.

This flawless, pale yellow faceted oval citrine gem measures approximately 25.4 x 19.05 x 9.525 mm, 24.43 ct., faceted oval cut citrine gemstone that faces up completely clean under 10x loupe magnification.

It is well faceted with excellent brilliance.

It is a beautiful clean gem with strong "lemon citrine" color.

Brazilian Shaman's Citrine Gem

Her inventory tells us this 23.8125 x 17.4625 x 11.1125 mm, 24.49ct. faceted oval citrine gem (shown above center) was cut from one of the many finds she brought back from her 1962 Brazilian Shaman artifact hunt.

Although she does not name them in her notes she solicited a handful of Brazilian holy men, healers, sorcerers and seers to act as guides to her party and relinquish some of their precious finds usually in trade for guns.

It is also one of the stones she had cut, by one of her unnamed New Orleans practitioner, follower, makers in 1962/63.

She writes of the crystal the gem was cut from being hand picked and of inducing it with spells or "charging" it as she called it.  She also writes of this source of citrine as having a wide range of metaphysical properties.

Two of her journal entries read; "This source of stone has very strong, positive vibrations that are readily available.  Its energies intensify with use which has been enhanced by their cutting.  These stones reborn have proven useful in calming all associated with them.  A proven aid for those seeking spiritual growth.  The meditations and healing's that I have administered with these stone have been most rewarding."

"The finished gem's facets enhance the focus of this stone's energies, it comes alive when pressure and breath applied to the stone."

This citrine gemstone was faceted from natural color crystal that was mined in Brazil.  It is of fine cut and views clean when viewed face up under 10x loupe magnification.  The gem has not been heated or treated in any way.

Brazilian Shaman's Prasiolite

Her journals and inventory tell us this 20.6375 x 15.875 x 11.1125 mm, 19.19 ct., faceted oval cut Prasiolite gem was also cut from one of the many specimen she brought back from her 1962 Brazilian Shaman artifact hunt.

The gem is one of a group she had commissioned to be cut in 1963 by a New York, practitioner, follower, gem cutter she names as, "Jew George" who had been used extensively by her long time friend Maya Deren, who had introduced them.  Many of the loose gemstones and those set in jewelry we recovered from this estate were attributed to his gem cutting skills.

The gem is of fine brilliant cut and pale green color.  It views flawless when viewed face up under 10x loupe magnification.

~!~

She writes of the gems being cut from hand picked specimen she had induced with spells or "charged" as she called her ritual inducements.  She also writes of this Prasiolite as having a wide range of metaphysical properties.

She tells us, "this is a natural stone that was found in twinning formations with some of the amethyst sources we found.  Their energy is similar to that of the amethyst causing a feeling of contentment and setting the stage for advanced meditations, healing and psychic perceptions.  They are a ward against negative energies and have proven to be miraculous healers and producers of a powerful healing water."

Prasiolite
From Wikipedia, the Free Encyclopedia, for the most part...

Prasiolite, green-quartz or vermarine is a green form of quartz, a silicate mineral chemically silicon dioxide.  Prasiolite is one of several quartz varieties.  Since 1950, almost all natural prasiolite has come from a small Brazilian mine, but it is also seen in Lower Silesia in Poland.  Naturally occurring prasiolite is also found in the Thunder Bay area of Canada.

Prasiolite can also be found spelled praziolite.  Prasiolite can be confused with the similarly colored praseolite which results from the heat treatment of iolite, a variety of cordierite.  Most prasiolite sold is used in jewelry settings, where it can substitute for far more expensive precious gemstones.

It is a rare stone in nature; artificially produced Prasiolite is heat treated amethyst.  Most amethyst will turn yellow or orange when heated producing citrine.  But some amethyst will turn green when treated. Currently, almost all prasiolite on the market results from a combination of heat treatment and ionizing radiation.

Green quartz is sometimes incorrectly called green amethyst, which is an actual misnomer and not an acceptable name for the material, the proper terminology being Prasiolite.  It is actually against Federal Trade Commission Guidelines to call prasiolite "green amethyst."  Other names for green quartz are vermarine, greened amethyst, or lime citrine.

The name is derived from the Greek prason meaning "leek" and lithos meaning "stone."  This means that "prasiolite" literally means "scallion green-colored stone."  The mineral was given its name due to its green-colored appearance.

Ma Saep Nang Phra Sant Yant Sex Dream Ritual Cloth

Her journals and inventory go on to tell us this is a, "Ma Saep Nang Phra Sant Yant Sex Dream Ritual Cloth" one of a group consisting of four types of these cloths created by different monks, given to her by Uncle Khoo.  The first of these cloths were received in a 1946, and these were printed on cotton.  Three 1 gross bundles (144x3 cloths) were received in 1959 and are printed on cellulose cloth.

Uncle Khoo

Her journals tell us of her being introduced to the attending monks of a close friend's funeral in Thailand in 1941 (the Khattiya Monk). Their apparent senior member introducing himself as, "Uncle Khoo."  Through her interpreter he was introduced to her as, ‘Tok Raja’, who told her the Khattiya Monk's name was Balin Dith (her above mentioned friend), a Khmer who had saved his life in the jungle many years ago and had kept his promise of visiting him (Tok Raja) in Malaysia which he had done for the last time, days before his death.  She too was asked to promise to visit him in Malaysia.  A promise her journals tell us she did fulfill three times prior to her own death.

Her journals do not add any information concerning this famous Thai Chief Abbot of the Kelantan state of Malaysia that is not already readily available to the casual researcher, so there is no need for us to further burden this text with what you should research on your own.

Her journals do tell us it was five years later that she returned to Malaysia to visit her Uncle Khoo.  She brought back four ritual vests and forty of these yant cloths which were personally blessed and given to her by Uncle Khoo as a parting gift, being one of four types of these cloths given to her.

~!~

These are vintage copies of the original antique versions of these sex ritual cloths. The originals were made by unknown monk(s) or sorcerer(s), perhaps in collaboration with others.  This design is first recorded sometime in the early 1940's but is known to be considerably older.  This is an old depiction that is often copied and sold today, but none of the vendor's who had them were able to provide correct information as to the maker monks or their associated temples to this day.

Our research leads us to believe the design is of Burmese, or Malaysian origin by a Thai or Cambodian refugee monk or Ajarn.

~!~

This is a sacred Pha Yant Mah Saep Nang cloth and is considered one of the most powerful love amulets ever created.  It is a sacred-charm cloth amulet with many alleged attributes but foremost for its ability to increase sex appeal and convert enemies into friends. Its main theme of a stallion having sexual intercourse with a young maiden is supposed to be obviously synonymous with the power of sex appeal. It is a very powerful and highly potent symbol of sexual prowess and masculinity in Thailand.  The cloth is also covered with sacred spells to increase the power of the cloth amulet.

This design was created in strict accordance with ancient sciences.  They are made from the same material used as shrouds to cover the deceased prior to cremation.  According to the Thai belief, the spirit of those that die may possibly depart the cadaver and possess those that attempt to remove the cloth.  The attending monk(s) employ powerful spells to ensure the departed soul becomes a positive force for the good of helping worshippers of the sacred cloth yants and not harming them!

This has always been an obscure and arcane practice, and today, very few monks create this type of charm amulet because the knowledge of how to do so is quickly dying as each generation passes.  The cloths are believed by many to possess miraculous power and are attributed as the most powerful of all love charms.

Her journals tell us she would use these, “over the pillows and under the pillowcases and, or place them under the sheets, mattress or bed for multiple blessings for relationships such as, sex magic, love, sex appeal, fertility, charm, success and good fortune.  There are numerous Akara (spells) surrounding the core theme of one of the most potent symbols of sexual prowess and masculinity, Maa Saep Nang, the young female being fucked silly by horse cock.” (although this imagery is powerful it is not meant to be taken literally)

The exact history of the Ma Saep Nang Maha Sanae Wicha (Charm Magic) is not known but many scholars have evidence to suggest that it first originated in Burma and initially established itself in the Lanna kingdom of present day Thailand.  Little is ever mentioned about Burmese magic but it is thought to be equally as powerful as the much publicized Khmer magic.  It is known that Burmese kings imported large numbers of Sanskrit texts from India on topics such as medicine, alchemy, incantation, sex and astrology.  In Burma, these Buddhist wizards are practitioners of what is called the weikza-lam (path of occult knowledge).

This tradition still exists today in Burma (present day Myanmar), and the largest of the groups practicing this occult path is based in the city of Pegy, and is called the Manosetopad Gaing.  Like their Thai counterparts, this organization bases an interest in the occult on the powers attained by the Buddha on the path to enlightenment.  They also believe that the relics of the Buddha (Burmese dat-daw) (Pali dhatu) are possessed of a kind of majestic power that he infused in them through the force of his samadhi.  It is clear from reading many of the ancient texts that the Burmese magic is based on a much older tradition of Spirit religions and animistic world views

In fact Ma Saep Nang is only one of a series of four related (Sut Yot Sanae) images that comprise the original Maha Sanae wicha, the others being, Nang Song Wua Saep, (two bulls and female),  Sam Noo Gin Nam Nom Meaw (three rats/mice drinking cats milk) this Maha Sanae Wicha was made famous by Ajahn Chum Chaikiri, and finally See Wua Gin Nam Nom Seua (four cows drinking tigers milk).

According to the popular legend of this magic a family that had a very beautiful daughter who was made responsible for tending to a prime specimen male horse on a daily basis. She eventually becomes very attached to the horse and actually falls in love and has a sexual encounter with her charge. Her father learns of this and is so ashamed that he kills the horse. The end result is a dead heart for the young girl.  Essentially the Maa Saep Nang magic and yants are associated with strong and powerful lust and attraction.

One of her journal entries gives us this sacred spell or Khata to chant over these cloths;

Ohm Nang Kuwk Nang Gwang Kwang
Gwang Ao Sao Mar Ner Nang Ner
Mar Raew Mar Ruk Gun Roi Mern Ter
San Wun Gor Hai Mar Har Koo Ner Nang
Hark Yoo Fark Far Gor Hai Mar Har Koo Ner Nang Ner Nang
Hark Yoo Lai Mair Num Kun San Wung Gor Hai Lan Mar Har Koo Ner Nang Ner Nang

And she goes on to tell us, “if you decide to walk this path you must fill you mind with nothing other then thoughts of the Three Jewels.  This will generate loving kindness toward the various grades of nats (here she refers to powerful nature spirits dwelling in trees, the earth, and mountains, the minor deities who preside over the use of magical incantations and diagrams, and medicine spirits whose domain includes the well-known herbs and minerals of alchemical lore).

Some other entries warn of, "the uninitiated using the cloth during seduction or sexual intercourse.  This has led to painful, long lasting erections in the male and nymphomania in the female."

Yant Magic

Our own research has shown all Yant, fall into the amulet category known as Kruang Reang i.e. Objects of Magic.  These are sacred images of high age from past guru masters that are highly collectible and can command a high price on today’s market.  The symbolism they display are usually seen as tattoos known as Sak Yant, of the Khmer Sorcerer Monks, Muay Tai fighters, mixed martial artists and some celebrities today.  When this intricate script is written on cloth it is known as 'Phra Yant'.  It is also etched on the soft metals used in Takrut's and on many Thai amulets.

The word Yant itself comes from the old the Sanskrit meaning, 'a sacred geometrical design' and is usually accompanied with a written Khom script or set of characters which are linked to the prayer or katha.  The script is a combination of Khom, Thai and the Sanskrit language, which is a style of early Khmer wicha magic that has been adopted by Buddhist monks and Ajarns (civilian Brahmins) of Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Malaysia.

In its form as a tattoo, (Sak Yant) it is much more than a fashion statement.  It is intrinsically linked to Buddha, Buddhist precepts and the guru master who created it.  The worshipper must truly believe and follow any instructions, as it is said the embedded wicha power may vanish if the are not followed.

Each design is unique in meaning and purpose as crafted by its maker, but follows a common theme such as bringing good luck and fortune, protection from harm and accidents, warding off evil spirits, love and attraction, power and success, great fighter, great lover, great talker etc.  In any of its forms, the sorcerer monk will chant his own form of incantation spell and ancient katha chant, at some point during the end of the process of making the yant, which concludes with Pao Katha, a blowing of the masters breath across the article to bind and activate the magical formula.

Her journals tell us one of Uncle Khoo's Phra Pidta amulets were given to one of her associates (1898 LiDiex) prior to his U.S Army deployment to the Pacific during World War II. In one of his journal entries he tells of being shot in the face and stomach at point blank range by a pair of Japanese soldiers, the bullets falling to the ground after bouncing off of him. He attributes his amulet Phra Pidta with saving his life.  The Japanese soldiers did not fare as well. He was not wearing any of his many amulets the day he was killed.

Similar stories abound in Thai and Malaysian police files and military veteran testimony.  Although early police files indicate the criminal, wearing or carrying a Phra Yant was attributed with invulnerability, speed, and/or invisibility, it did not take the police officers long to catch on.  More often than not, they carry them today!

All of this is a fascinating study of the cultural magic practiced in Thailand that we wholeheartedly recommend you research further.

Cellulose
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, for the most part...

Cellulose is an organic compound consisting of a linear chain of several hundred to many thousands of linked D-glucose units. It is an important structural component of the primary cell wall of green plants, many forms of algae and the oomycetes. Some species of bacteria secrete it to form biofilms. Cellulose is the most abundant organic polymer on Earth. The cellulose content of cotton fiber is 90%, that of wood is 40–50%, and that of dried hemp is approximately 57%.

It is mainly used to produce paperboard and paper. Smaller quantities are converted into a wide variety of derivative products such as cellophane and rayon. Conversion of cellulose from energy crops into biofuels such as cellulosic ethanol is under development as a renewable fuel source. Cellulose for industrial use is mainly obtained from wood pulp and cotton. Some animals, particularly ruminants and termites, can digest cellulose with the help of symbiotic micro-organisms that live in their guts, such as Trichonympha. In human nutrition, cellulose is a non-digestible constituent of insoluble dietary fiber, acting as a hydrophilic bulking agent for feces and potentially aiding in defecation. It has no taste, is odorless, is hydrophilic with the contact angle of 20–30 degrees, is insoluble in water and most organic solvents, is chiral and is biodegradable. It was shown to melt at 467 °C in 2016. It can be broken down chemically into its glucose units by treating it with concentrated mineral acids at high temperature.

So How Do I Use It?

With all do respect and very carefully.  It is primarily a weapon but it was also used to heal, find love matches and lost property.  Go figure.

It is certainly a nicely aged vintage lot of artifact with an extraordinary provenance that is much nicer than the photographs are able to depict.

And so my friends that concludes this one, unless of course you have any questions!

We have been contacted and visited by a number of people who were interested in the items from this estate since our first batch was listed.  Among the buyers have been known psychics and practitioners.  More than one, after adorning themselves or handling their purchase, stated "this is a woman of power!"  Many of our clients, after receiving items from this estate have reported dream contacts and other unexplained phenomenon.

Unusual, authentic Voodoo Priestess Estate piece and at a bargain price!

This is truly a rare opportunity to own anything with attributes to this estate.  The majority of this estate is now gone.  Most of what we had left, and it was considerable, has been split up and sold to a couple of private, foreign collector practitioners and will never be available to the public again.  We made the decision to do this as we have had some pretty strange visits from even stranger individuals and there have been enough unexplained phenomenon going on in the warehouse where her things were kept that many of our employees refused to go in there.

The pieces offered and sold here are some of the few remaining pieces that will ever be offered to the public.

Nice addition to any collection, altar, wardrobe or decor, displays really well.

Really doesn't get any better than this.

There are 64 photographs below to tell the rest of this tale.

You are buying the sword, box and it's contents, not the props, but you knew that already!
